Introduction

I'd like to share my dream trip with you: Japan. This country has long fascinated me with its unique blend of heritage and modernity.

Where is this place?

Japan is an East Asian island nation recognized for its beautiful natural landscapes and bustling cities. It is in the Pacific Ocean, east of the Korean Peninsula and China.

What is it like?

Japan is a land of stark contrasts. On the one hand, it is home to thriving metropolises such as Tokyo, with its futuristic skyscrapers, cutting-edge technology, and dynamic nightlife. On the other side, it cherishes its rich cultural legacy, which can be seen in antique temples, beautifully planted gardens, and traditional tea rituals.

What can you do in this country?

Visiting Japan provides a plethora of experiences. Nature lovers can enjoy the tranquil splendor of cherry blossoms in spring, walk up iconic Mount Fuji, or rest in the medicinal hot springs known as onsens. History buffs can visit old shrines and temples, such as the famed Kyoto temples, and learn about samurai and ninja history. Foodies can enjoy authentic sushi, ramen, and tempura, while anime and manga fans can immerse themselves in the worlds of anime and manga.

When do you want to visit this country?

I would prefer to visit Japan in the spring, when the cherry blossoms, or sakura, bloom. This season, which lasts from late March through early April, is marked by picnics, festivals, and hanami (illuminated cherry blossom watching events). The country has been transformed into a pink and white fantasy, and the weather has been wonderful. It's the ideal time to immerse yourself in Japan's culture and natural beauty.

Conclusion

To summarize, Japan is a country that provides a rich tapestry of experiences ranging from the ancient to the cutting-edge. Its distinct combination of tradition and innovation, together with its natural beauty, makes it an ideal once-in-a-lifetime vacation for me.

Describe a country you would like to visit IELTS Speaking Part 3 Follow-up Questions

Follow-up questions for “Describe a Country you would like to visit” are given below. In the actual exam, The IELTS speaking part 3 - follow up question session is conducted for about 4-5 minutes where you have to discuss questions about a general topic or question on your cue card.

1. Who do you prefer to go with when traveling, family or friends?

I believe that whether to travel with family or friends is mostly determined by the nature of the trip and personal preferences. Traveling with family can be quite rewarding when looking for genuine connections and shared experiences. It strengthens our relationships and helps us to delve deeper into our roots and customs. Traveling with friends, on the other hand, frequently provides more flexibility and spontaneity. It can lead to exciting and enjoyable journeys. Personally, I value both possibilities and choose depends on the type of adventure I'm looking for. Each has its own distinct charm and can provide amazing recollections.

2. Lots of countries now do not accept unvaccinated travelers, do you think that’s fair?

The topic of whether it is fair for countries to refuse unvaccinated visitors is complicated. Fairness in this situation, in my opinion, is about striking the correct balance. Countries should emphasize public health, but they should also consider exemptions for people who cannot take vaccines for medical reasons. Furthermore, clear communication and instructions are required to ensure that travelers understand the requirements and can make informed decisions regarding their travel plans. Finally, the fairness of such policies is determined by their ability to protect public health while protecting individual rights.

3. Do people in your nation enjoy traveling to different countries?

Yes, people in my country like visiting to other nations. Travel broadens our horizons, exposes us to different cultures, and fosters a more in-depth view of the world. It's a way to get out of the norm, make treasured memories, and gain significant experiences. The desire to travel to new places and meet individuals from other origins is shared by many people in my country, whether for pleasure, business, or education.
